"BIOFIBE 2013" Winnipeg, Manitoba - Canada
BIOFIBE 2013 will build on the success of past BIOFIBE events and showcase Manitoba’s agricultural biotech and bioproduct capabilities while helping to forge new collaborative networks with national and international partners.
We are very excited about the activity and growth in the bioproducts sector in Manitoba and see BIOFIBE 2013 as being the showcase of Manitoba’s capabilities to the world. It would mean a great deal to our industry members to have yourself and delegates present at the event, to strengthen Canada/Manitoba’s linkages to the global bioproducts sector. The goal of BIOFIBE 2013 is to: connect our local companies to new business partners and investors; highlight Manitoba’s bio-products innovation and R&D; attract new businesses and investment to Canada; and to increase international awareness of our local bioproducts industry, its value and future potential.
In-Canada Support:
The Midwestern Regional Office (MWDRO) in Manitoba will work with each of you to identify any specific objectives for yourself and delegates, prior to arriving in Winnipeg. A customized meeting schedule can be arranged providing the opportunity to meet with key Canadian bioproducts stakeholders, and to maximize the value of your attending the event.
In addition, the MWDRO will fully support the development of outreach activities while in Manitoba. Examples include:

Planning for BIOFIBE 2011 is being undertaken by a group of local industry stakeholders—including the Province of Manitoba, The Eureka! Project, SWM Intl, and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. This planning group is being led by LSAM and the CIC - Co-Chairs of the BIOFIBE 2013 event.
