The RTPO present at the TPO World Conference 2015

ACC10 and ProCórdoba were present at the event

The 10th TPO Network World Conference and Awards (WTPO), hosted by Dubai Exports -member of RTPO- and in collaboration with the International Trade Centre (ITC), took place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from 3-5 November 2014.

As depicted in the picture, representatives of the agencies ProCórdoba, ERAI, ACCIO and Dubai Exports met with Arancha Gonzalez, Executive Director of ITC. 

The WTPO Conference is the ultimate global event for Trade Promotion Organisations (TPO), which brings together approximately 200 renowned TPO representatives at a national and regional level as well as other organisations involved in trade promotion.

The theme “From export promotion to internationalisation – The role of TPOs in the evolving global economy” reflected the need to develop responses to new requirements, as SMEs seek in TPOs for advice and assistance to help them access and cope with new markets.

On Wednesday 5th, a representative of ERAI delivered a speech during lunchtime.

The event provides trade professionals with a unique opportunity to network and share information on innovative trade initiatives, best practices and case studies. Participants explored new approaches to facilitate the internationalisation of SMEs, and will be joined by field experts to discuss topics such as:

Trade and investment;

Use of information and communications technologies to design, deliver and measure the impact of TPO services;

Women empowerment through trade;

Market diversification – SMEs and emerging markets, and

Integration of SMEs into global value chains.
