About RTPO: Who We Are...

The International Network for Regional Trade Promotion Organizations aims at establishing a meeting point between different agencies located around the world, but with similar objectives and missions, to come together to share their experiences and develop joint projects.

The RTPO Network has always worked with one vision: To network with similar trade promotion agencies at the regional level, to allow for the enrichment of every member of the RTPO network, and thus project that benefit on the promotion of exports of SMEs around the world; and one mission: To exchange information, to share specialties and to execute joint projects in order to acheive internationalisation and create opportunities for each of the SMEs that the agencies represent.

On behalf of accomplishing its mission this meeting point should not only provide a space for mutual recognition amongst similar agencies, but it should also increase their presence at an international level.

Thus, the key elements of this network can be summarized as:

* Meeting point - Mutual recognition
* Exchange of experiences and best practices
* Joint projects
* Uniform Recognition of its members to the third parties

Two main axes define the common denominators of these organizations:

1. Non-state organisations (regional, autonomic, departmental, provincial)
2. Internationalisation as main objective

RTPO will look for new members in order to enlarge the network and welcome those organisations interested in strengthening the role of Regional Agencies in the global world.
