RTPO Meeting - Brussels 2011

The 4th General Assembly of the RTPO on 14 October 2011 has been successful in making the most important decisions for the Association. 13 agencies were represented.

The session was opened by the RTPO President (Mr. Mundunwazi Baloyi from GEDA) and the host of the General Assembly (Mr. Philippe Suinen from AWEX). All members agree to set up a General Assembly appointing the new Presdency and Secretariat. 

During the first session new member ANIM was presented and introduced to the Association members as well as one of its main events, CENTRALLIA, a  business to business forum that will take place in 2012 (Oct 10 – Oct 12). www.centrallia.com. Also Dubai Exports was introduced to all RTPO members. Dubai Export was a provisional member of RTPO, pending of ratification by the GA. 

As the Steering Committee (SC) of RTPO is elected for a period of 4 years, it was necessary to renew the members of this committee this year. As regards to the Presidency, AWEX was elected as new President of the RTPO for a one year period. The Secretariat and Treasury was agreed to renew the mandate of ACC1Ó. 

All the current members showed their interest to keep their presence in the SC as well as ANIM and Exportaminas who now enlarge the body. The Senior Board Members now conclude out ACC1Ó, ERAI, FIT, MDEIE Québec, COFOCE, GEDA, ProCórdoba, ANIM and Exportaminas. 

The following GA, which will be held in 2012, will be organized by MDEIE Quebec in Montréal and will take place in October 2012.
