RTPO Prepares for the 5th General Assembly
The event will be held in Winnipeg, CANADA
The 2012 General Assembly of the RTPO will take place in Winnipeg, Canada on 9th October. The event has been relocated to Winnipeg in order to best-utilize members’ time, as CENTRALIA, the business to business forum, will take place during the same week.
The current presidency of the RTPO is held by AWEX, the Walonia, Belgium based agency, whose main objective for the 2012 term has been to strengthen the RTPO’s international visibility. Accordingly, one of the main topics of this meeting will be to evaluate the actions undertaken throughout this year to show the RTPO as an efficient regional network composed of top-notch agencies to various important international organizations.
The 2011 meeting, the RTPO’s 4th General Assembly, succeeded in making many important decisions for the Network. At the Assembly the new Steering Committee (SC) was elected. Each member will serve for a four year period. The President of the Network, a one year position, was also chosen. The renewal of the ACC1Ó mandate for the Secretary and Treasurer was also agreed upon. Past members expressed an interest in remaining on the SC, with ANIM and Exportaminas who joined the Committee. The members of the Steering Committee now include ACC1Ó, ERAI, FIT, MDEIE Québec, COFOCE, GEDA, ProCórdoba, ANIM and Exportaminas.
